Convergence has created an entirely new platform comprising data, analytical products and services that penetrate and assess the operations and operational risk of Alternative Asset Manager and their service providers. Our product set is unique, as it is independently sourced and verifiable to data produced by the Advisor and contains original content that is derived in the form of practices and benchmarking. Our Portal is updated and refreshed daily. We have created a database with over 15mm artifacts providing unprecedented transparency into 17,000+ Registered Investment Advisors and the eco-system that supports the RIA


Responsible for building data distribution relationships with firms that are interested in building out asset manager infrastructure data captured and manufactured by Convergence. Data can be purchased and ‘white labeled’ for distribution to respective client bases.

Minimum $500k


National if necessary – Heavy Northeast orientation – Baltimore to Boston


Lead the data distribution efforts in the region/channel

  • Ensure a high probability pipeline that is consistently 3x goal
  • Active management of targets and Strategic discussion of deal probability risks and mitigation strategy

 Understand the universe of opportunity

  • Establish and manage market intelligence gathering on each prospect
  • Understand product utility by channel and client
  • Update management weekly on prospective clients and interactions versus goal
  • Establish a multi-year strategic sales plan
  • Provide input and routine updates on new and existing product development requirements
  • Achieve agreed sales metrics, evidenced by:
  • Number of target client and intermediary presentations
  • Volume of documented call reports
  • Value of new business contracted
  • Value of high to medium pipeline
  • Market share growth
  • Cross-sell generation

 Convergence Branding

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of marketing, sales and product information for each channel
  • Ensure all products and services have a defined set of marketing & sales, legal, technical and financial models and documentation
  • Work with the centralized marketing function to ensure appropriately targeted marketing and brand awareness



  • Proven track record of data sales capabilities and execution exceeding goal
  • Relevant experience in financial services industry, ideally within the asset management space

Industry skills/experience

  • Sales and business development experience
  • Ability to consult with clients and create solution-driven sales
  • Exposure to outsourcing processes and strategies

  • Ability to actively demo Convergence database and products


Distribution Business Development Director will report to George Evans, Co-President


Compensation will be market based and commensurate with experience and seniority. In addition, the successful candidate will receive a competitive benefits package and be eligible to participate in other firm wide bonus and equity schemes
