SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

Responsible for the Marketing Program to relevant buyer channels:

Colleges – Business School  and Alumni


Requirements


Understand the universe of opportunity

  • Facilitate marketing initiatives by strengthening awareness of the firm, it’s expertise, technology innovation, and value proposition
  • Understand product utility by channel and client
  • Educate the media – create insights and opportunities for Convergence
  • Increase visibility as a thought leader and position Convergence leadership
  • Establish annual strategic marketing plan

Development and management of the Convergence marketing strategy

WEB SITE MANAGEMENT

  • Content adjustments as necessary – content and guidance
  • Coordination with website development team to integrate any changes
  • Provide Monthly Website statistics on traffic and registration
  • SEO support
  • Long term goal to get 1500 hits a week

EMAIL DATABASE

  • Learn Insightly System CRM
  • Maintain email lists in Insightly by channel
  • Maintain email GAP list by channel
  • Work with various email appending services to constantly fill gaps, as determined by Operations
  • Run regular email campaigns through MailChimp and Constant Contact
  • Provide metrics on all email campaigns – open – close – bounce – unsubscribe etc

COMPANY LINKED IN PAGE – TWITTER and SOCIAL MEDIA PROGRAM

COLLATERAL and PRESENTATION SUPPORT

  • Development and maintenance of product and channel materials for sales team and Web links

PRESS RELEASES – MARKETING PROGRAM

  • Execute Press release program with Services chosen – PRWire – PRWeb –etc – Direct Media
  • Includes release of new products and whitepapers
  • Set up regular meetings with Media on relevant stories
  • Provide metrics around each released

VIDEO and EVENTS – support as necessary – 1-2 annual Convergence events – regular speaking roles at client events

Education


Proven track record of marketing capabilities and execution

Relevant experience in financial services industry, ideally within the asset management space

Industry skills/experience

  • Ability to consult with clients and create solution-driven sales
  • Exposure to outsourcing processes and strategies

  • Ability to manage and work with teams involved in multiple disciplines across different locations
  • Ability to actively demo Convergence database and products

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Marketing will report to George Evans, Co-President and is based in South Norwalk CT

COMPENSATION

Compensation will be market based and commensurate with experience and seniority. In addition, the successful candidate will receive a competitive benefits package and be eligible to participate in other firm wide bonus and equity schemes
