Jonathan Wedgbury – Principal Consultant
Jonathan is a Principal Consultant at ACA Europe where his role incorporates advising alternative fund managers on their ongoing FCA compliance obligations, undertaking regulatory projects, as well as assisting ACA in a business development capacity. Prior to joining ACA, Jonathan worked at a UK compliance and operational due diligence consultancy. This was preceded by four years at a major UK compliance consultancy, where Jonathan provided ongoing compliance support and project work, including FCA section 166 Skilled Person Reviews, before becoming head of corporate development. During his time in this role Jonathan participated in various speaking engagements such as discussing the impact of AIFMD on fund managers.
Martin Lovick, Principal Consultant
Martin Lovick serves as a Principal Consultant in the London office of ACA Compliance (Europe). In this role, Martin works with a number of clients on their UK and European compliance frameworks and monitoring programmes. He also advises clients on current hot topics for the UK regulator (the FCA) such as best execution and the use of dealing commission, as well as analysing new European legislation such as the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II), the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR), short selling, and the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD).
