New York hedge funds are facing new hiring hurdles as a local anti-discrimination law stops employers from asking for current salaries. On 4 May, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio signed Intro. 1253-A to become Local Law 67 prohibiting all employers from inquiring about a prospective employee’s salary history.
