On September 18, at the heart of the City, hedge fund technology leaders joined HFM to celebrate the sector’s achievements in 2019.
Amid the ceremonial atmosphere of London’s Banking Hall, trade tech specialists, cloud and managed services firms and infrastructure vendors, among others, were celebrated across 27 categories.
RFA and Options Technology were among the night’s big winners, each taking home three trophies.
For the first time this year, the awards celebrated innovation in sustainability initiatives and blockchain technology, with the honours going to Plenitude and Copper, respectively.
The best overall award went to Options, which also won for best IT managed service and best infrastructure provider.
RFA took home the best overall gong for client service and came in first for best IT consultancy and best public cloud-based service.
Categories were judged by an expert panel of CTOs on a range of criteria including business growth, client service, solving problems relevant to hedge funds managers, innovation and product development.
The event was co-hosted by comedian Andrew Bird.
