North America’s top hedge fund service providers were last night honoured in an awards ceremony in New York.
More than 300 people gathered at the landmark 583 Park Avenue for the annual HFM US Services Awards, now in their tenth year.
Prime brokers, admins, technology providers, lawyers and other vendors were celebrated across 40 categories for their exceptional innovation, customer service and business performance over the past 12 months.
The winners were chosen by an independent judging panel of COOs, CFOs, CTOs and other executives at leading US hedge funds, a process that included some forensic face-to-face interviews and rigorous examination of some 250 entry submissions.
Among the night’s big winners, Agio, CME, Eze Castle, US Bank and SS&C all multiple award winners picked up three gongs.
Goldman Sachs took back the crown of best prime broker from last year’s winner Morgan Stanley, while Citco claimed the best large admin award from 2018 victor BNY Mellon.
Best auditor went to KPMG, and Schulte, Roth & Zabel was named best onshore law firm.
The event was hosted by comedian Kevin McCaffrey.
